Track Name: My Fevered Imagination
Track Length: 2:51
Description:
This one is kind of interesting. I used some very unusual chords. I think it would work for some angst-ridden period piece where the loopy hero inexplicably commits some heinous crime... or at least that is what pops into My Fevered Imagination... Composed by Steve Lowther. {halloween, electronica, suspense, tension, detective, aggression, prog rock, sci-fi, intrigue, fear, alternative, dark}

Track Name: Katz Cradle
Track Length: 3:00
Description:
This track was originally composed as an elegy for Fred Katz, who wrote film soundtrack scores for several Roger Corman films in the 1950s and 1960s. For those who have never heard of Corman: he produced and directed sci-fi and horror films with titles like "Night of The Blood Beast" and "The Wasp Woman" (just to give you some examples). However, after much application of effects and processing, the mixdown of this composition has ended up sounding a lot more like industrial electronica than retro horror b-movie fare - perhaps more like a subtle soundscape than was originally intented... Composed by Steve Lowther. {melancholy, neoclassical, motion}

Track Name: Prancing Monk
Track Length: 3:06
Description:
Sharp angles and jerky rhythms give this track a somewhat alien and exotic feel. Whirling Dervishes, leaping nuns, marching to demented drummers on the outer-outskirts of the peak of normality. I see early grainy black and white cartoons where the (somewhat frightening looking characters) bounce and vibrate on bendy legs. Composed by Steve Lowther. {exotic, whimsical, Synthesizer, themes, weirdo, cartoon, motion}

Track Name: Rattlesnake Boogie
Track Length: 3:03

More music for "The Weird West" with jerky start-stop rhythms mixed with mutant banjo jamming and topped with a layer of ghostly echoing whistle-organ. Composed by Steve Lowther. {weirdo, cowboy, country, cinematic, whimsical, electronica, exotic, atmospheres}

Track Name: Cumulonimbus
Track Length: 2:59
Description:
As the name suggests, this music could form the backdrop for some video scenery of the natural environment. It could also work well faded down in the soundtrack mix to allow some documentary style voiceover. The foreground instrumentation is orchestral strings, with a burbling new age synthesizer to accompany. Composed by Steve Lowther. {ambient, cinematic, mellow, neoclassical, atmospheres, electronica}
